Purchased Telsa Model Y from automation ford in December 2022. Bud Thomas, Internet Sales Specialist was great to work with Joseph Asadi, General Sales Manager helped resolved an issue and was very nice about it. Blake Lichty, Customer Financial Manager, was not great and he is the reason for the 3 star review. Bud provided all details needed for a decision on purchasing the car, helped fix cosmetics issue on the car during/after buying process, & helped negotiate for a good price on my trade-in. Joseph helped resolve an issue that was caused by Blake during the buying process and chatted with me while it was being resolved. Nice guy STAY AWAY from Blake, I had to tell him 3 different times that I did not wish to purchase any extra options for the car. After the 3rd time of reaping myself, he moved on, but you could tell his attitude during the process was no longer pleasant. During the signing of title paperwork, he forgot to add my lien holder, which somewhat was my fault, I did not catch when I was signing the paperwork. However, I did notice shortly after leaving his office and when I went back to have him correct it, he was on the phone and his office door was closed. I stood outside for a few minutes waiting for him to finish and he eventually, came to the door. When I informed him about the mistake, he said “i’m on a call and it may take me a while to fix it” and he proceed back to his phone call. I spoke to Joseph, he agreed, that was unacceptable and went & spoke to Blake. 10 minutes later, Blake provided an update copy of the DOT Title Paperwork showing the Lien Holder. Fast forward one month to January 2023.. I just received the Title in the mail from the DMV. Blake filed the original copy of the DMV form(copy w/o Lien Holder) and not the one that had the Lien Holder information. Rather that trying to get a hold of Autnoation, I resolved myself w/ DMV and got the Lien Holder information added, it did cost me $4.00, but well worth it then having to speak w/ Blake again. Also, just found Blake overcharged me for my Car Registration w/ the DMV. During the car buying process, they told me the Registration fee for my Tesla was over $800.00. I just found from the DMV the registration fee for my Tesla was $393.32. I will be reaching out to Bud and see about getting back the difference. As mentioned before, if it wasn’t for these issues caused by Blake, would have been a 5 star review as everything else was great. Update - 01/10/23 - I called the number mentioned in the reply from AutoNation and it was for the main switchboard of the dealer, not a direct # to a manager. I emailed Bud and he forward my email to an specific manager. Waiting to hear back. Update - 1/15/23 - Earlier in the week, Bud was able to get a hold of on-site manager and they confirmed a check was mailed to me. I received the check yesterday for the Registration difference. All is good now.. Again, a big thank you to Bud Thomas for all of his assistance. From start to finish.
